I would ask your blessings on the Faithful of Fenway.
Hold our Boston Red Sox players safely in your hands.
'til they're home, please send them friendly faces in the stands.
First they'll play the Tigers then head north to play the Jays.
They won't Open here at home for far too many days.
Please don't let our season start the way it did last year.
