Hey, I like Tim Tebow...  I've been told he's very nice.

Watched him in the game last night; he threw for touchdowns twice.

But, that doesn't mean that he deserves a roster spot.

Some teams need 3 quarterbacks.  The Patriots do not.

Yes, I know that isn't very Christian of me but

Tebow holds the ball too long.  He shouldn't make the cut...

Not unless you put a person's character in play.

I bet you that Myra Kraft would want Tebow to stay.

Culture of the Patriots has changed, said Rolling Stone.

Not the kind of team that Bob and Myra used to own.

Back when they would cut a guy because he beat his wife.

Nowadays we hire guys who live the "gangsta" life.

Maybe, then, a dose of Tim is what New England needs;

Someone who sets good examples by his words and deeds.

Maybe Tim deserves a spot 'cause maybe he'll mature.

Part of me says cut him; the majority's unsure.

Heard about an old idea that's morphed to something new,

People helping other people - this is what they do;

Rather than a painful trip to beg some giant bank

For a loan, they're asking strangers.  Internet's to thank.

Someone with a good idea will post the thing on line

Looking for investors and - so far - it's going fine.

Catching on in Europe, where it's known as "Peer to Peer".

Wondering if Occupiers ought to try it here?

I believe the movement, if it wants to change a thing,

Has to now agree upon a single song to sing.

(Maybe it's not peer to peer but fixing our campaigns...

Super PACs are dangerous.) We have to use our brains.

I know smarter folks than I - more actively involved -

Must be trying very hard to get this problem solved.

Hope that they're more organized than first impressions seem;

That the Wall Street Occupiers don't run out of steam.

Pick a single issue.  Stay on message.  Talk it up.

Find a worthy Kool-Aid and then pour us all a cup.

Texas helped Mitt Romney cross his "T"s and dot his "I"s;

Locked the nomination up - which isn't a surprise.

Reached the magic number 'cause he's running unopposed;

Knew the outcome well before the polls had ever closed.

Heck! Mitt wasn't even there. He hung with Donald Trump,

Who - despite his wealth and fame - I find a total chump.

Donald still insists the President's not qualified;

Says he's not a citizen - believes Hawaii lied.

Claims Obama's Kenyan; chose to disregard the proof.

Kinda wish that Mitt had chose to hold himself aloof.

One is known to others by the company one keeps,

But the folks that Romney's courting lately seem like creeps.

Sure, I know he's polling neck and neck but - hold the fort -

He's already guaranteed the loony, fringe support.

I think playing to them, still, is such a big mistake.

May be time for Mitt to give that Etch-a-Sketch a shake.
