Bill O'Reilly's "mad at God" for screwing up his life.

Said God "worked him over..." Wow - the irony is rife.

Six times that O'Reilly's claimed that he was not at fault.

He thinks only God can stop a sexual assault.

God has disavowed responsibility for Bill;

Chasing 6 forbidden fruits - he exercised free will.

So, to Bill (and other predators we all could name)

God wants him to find some other deity to blame.

Sports gods took a knee and said that Bill can take a hike.

Bill could claim the devil made him do it, if he'd like.

Then he could feel right at home, with all the other trolls,

And I hear Hell's always in the market for new souls.

Willful Ignorance?

I think NPR should be required listening;

Before you're allowed to give opinions on something

You would have to prove you didn't get your news from FOX

(Where the "idiot" is hyphenated to the "box.")

Cannot quote the rumors of conspiracies they spread;

You can't cite as "truth" something that Bill O'Reilly's said.

How, when recent studies proved that viewers of FOX News

Get facts wrong, is it the channel anyone would choose?

Still, it's got the highest ratings - revenues are great.

There's a lot of profit to be made in spreading hate.

But, if you prefer real news, tune in to NPR.

It should be the only channel we hear in the car.

The Obama Report

Only 7 shows before the last Colbert Report...

Although I wish Stephen had agreed to do some more,

Last night President Obama did "The Word" so well,

'though he loves his current job I figure, what the hell...

Bill O'Reilly says that, as a pundit who's on FOX,

He has got more power climbing up on his soapbox

Than a politician like the President has got.

Maybe, then, Obama should give Stephen's job a shot.

I cannot imagine, now Republicans have won,

That Obama's last 2 years in office will be fun.

He could live the life o' Reilly; he would have it made

If he just convinces Larry Wilmore he should trade.

Russian FOX News

In a propaganda war it's hard to know what's true.

Both sides may be lying...  We know Putin's told a few.

Russian news claims Nazi sympathizers rule Ukraine,

Backed by U.S. Special Forces.  Clearly, that's insane.

Russians must believe it though 'cause many of them call

For new annexations in Ukraine...  Don't want it all.

Just the eastern bits (the part with mines and rich farmland)

And, if we don't like it, we are welcome to pound sand.

Russians seem to think their country's only lending aid,

Unaware that protestors on city streets got paid.

It's as if they're trying to form rational world views

When their only source of information's like FOX News.

ACA - You're Funny or You're Dead

Trying to increase enrollment by a younger crowd,

President Obama and his White House staff allowed

People from Between Two Ferns to tape an interview.

Bill O'Reilly says that's something Lincoln wouldn't do.

I would tend to disagree; Old Abe was fond of jokes.

Often got his point across with gentle, comic pokes.

Hard to argue with success - the interview's gone viral.

Int'rest from "Invincibles" is in an upward spiral.

President Obama got to plug the A.C.A.

Traffic at healthcare.gov increases every day.

'though the geriatric bunch at FOX may shake their head

With a hip, young crowd you're either funny or you're dead.

President Obama gave an interview to FOX;

Spoke with Bill O'Reilly (who's as subtle as an ox)

Or, at least, he tried to...  When O'Reilly let him speak;

Tried to treat the President like guests he has each week.

Bill demanded heads should roll: Sebelius and Rice - 

Health Care and Benghazi - interrupted more than twice

When Obama tried to answer accusations made...

Couldn't call them questions - that's not how this game is played.

People who tune in to FOX believe they're getting news,

Never realizing it's just Roger Ailes's views.

If the facts do not support the things that Roger feels

FOX invents conspiracies; it's how they earn their meals.

President Obama is their favorite boogeyman.

They've convinced their audience he's got a secret plan;

He's a closet Communist or Muslim - take your pick.

So, they keep on slinging mud in hopes something will stick.

When he'd finally had enough, Obama looked at Bill;

Said he knew they don't agree on things and never will.

Pointed out that, since FOX keeps ignoring all the facts,

He is not surprised at how their audience reacts.

G.O.P. wants something from their Shutdown, don't know what;

To defund Obama Care, another budget cut?

One thing that they're sure they want? A little more respect.

They're not getting any lately...  What did they expect?

They could always tune to Bullshit Mountain for some praise.

(That is what Jon Stewart's calling FOX's "news" these days.)

When you hear them tell it, "slimming down" is for the good.

You won't feel the impact in your all-white neighborhood.

They do not support calls for the Tea Party to halt

Shutting down the government (which is Obama's fault.)

Something's in the water there; it's making them insane.

Maybe that's the reason why their programs are inane.

Look at Bill O'Reilly and what happened to Glenn Beck...

By the time he left the place the poor guy was a wreck.

They've become so toxic - spreading anger, fear, and doubt -

It's a shame the E.P.A. is closed and can't help out.

Don't know if the law was broke but looks like it was bent.

Meanwhile, all the rest of us (again) were on our own;

Well aware the gap between the rich and poor has grown

Out of all proportion to the contributions that

Benefit society...  I think I smell a rat.

Does that make me Socialist?  I never thought I was;

But, according to FOX News?  They're positive it does.
